Main Business: Rocket engines

Introduction: The Sixth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) is primarily responsible for the research, development, production, and testing of solid rocket engines for China's strategic, tactical, and space programs. Known as the "cradle" of China's solid rocket engine technology, its origins trace back to the Solid Propellant Engine Research Institute of the Fifth Academy under the Ministry of National Defense, established on July 1, 1962.

Cooperation: In September 2024, CASC partnered with UPIPE to implement blue compressed air pipe systems for Phase II of the Zhongzhao Research & Production Complex at the 7103 Factory.
