Its business covers cigarette production, distribution, and tobacco material supply. As a major contributor to national fiscal revenue, its flagship brands include "Chunghwa" and "Yuxi." While complying with tobacco control policies, the corporation continues to advance research on harm reduction technologies.

Cooperation: In October 2022, China Tobacco partnered with UPIPE to upgrade and replace compressed air piping system (DN20–DN148) at Hubei China Tobacco Wuhan Cigarette Factory (Huanghelou brand production base).
